The firm was founded by Alexander Popivker, whose career in investment banking spanned the 1990s and 2000s at Morgan Stanley and UBS AG in New York, Moscow and London.

In 2006, he established his own wealth advisory practice, where private aviation quickly emerged as a key area of client need. In 2010, he created Rubicon Aviation Ltd as a dedicated firm, allowing it to focus exclusively on the private and business aviation sector.

Today, Rubicon Aviation combines deep financial expertise with specialist aviation knowledge, offering clients independent, objective advice on one of the most significant assets they will own.
